Bethlehem Farm

June 17-23 in Summers County, WV

Experience life on the Farm.  Spend a week in rural West Virginia repairing homes around the community.  Get to know community members and the caretakers who live there year-round.  Immerse yourself in the Farm’s commitment to service, community, simplicity, and prayer.  Lodging is dorm style and food is guaranteed to be some of the freshest you have ever eaten (and grown).  This trip is open to all teens who will be 16 or older by the date of the trip.

Franciscans for the Poor

June 24-29 in Cincinatti, OH

Follow in the footsteps of St Francis as the Franciscan Sisters for the Poor host you at their Tau Community House.  Each day, you will serve at a different site (25 possibilities include schools for those with disabilities, soup kitchens, housing rehab, day care centers, homeless shelters and more).  Lodging is dorm style (linens provided) and food is prepared by the trip participants.  This trip is open to all teens currently in high school.

Villa Maria

July 22-28 in Villa Maria, PA

Enjoy the spacious grounds of the Villa Maria Center and the beauty of Western Pennsylvania after days serving at sites in the area.  Service will include building homes with Habitat for Humanity and one or two other service sites (possibilities include a no-kill animal shelter, an organic farm, and more).  Lodging is dorm style (linens provided) and food is prepared and served by the center.  This trip is open to all teens currently in high school.

 

 

Habitat for Humanity

July 29 to August 4 in Clarksdale, MS

Help a family own their own home.  Habitat for Humanity is an international organization that works within communities to provide safe and affordable housing for families in need.  Build a new home with the future homeowners while exploring the culture of the “Birthplace of the Blues”.  Lodging is dorm-style and food is prepared by trip members.  This trip is open to all teens currently in their junior  or senior year of high school.
