Summer Camp Opportunity Open Now! Minimize

Totus Tuus Catholic Summer Camp kids in the sun

The highly-acclaimed Totus Tuus Summer Camp, a week-long Catholic youth program, is coming again to St. Luke Parish this summer! Take a look at the kind of fun we had last year in the video above, and sign up now if you want your children to be a part of this exciting program in 2018!

Totus Tuus (which means “totally yours” in Latin) is a very popular summer camp that presents the Catholic faith to students entering Grades 1–12 in a way that is engaging and FUN! Specially trained college missionaries lead our youths and teens through daily activities that keep them active and involved, all while teaching them more about their Catholic faith!

The Totus Tuus Program is divided into two levels with their own schedules:

· For children entering Grades 1-6 this fall:  9:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday-Friday

· For junior high/high school students:  7:00 to 9:00 pm Sunday-Thursday

For full details and a registration form, click here. (Note: the camp is limited to 90 youths, so registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.)

Easy Sign-up for Online Giving Minimize

GiveCentral offers an easy, convenient way to support St. Luke Parish

Online giving is a safe, convenient, and easy way to make gifts whether it's for your weekly Sunday offering or a one-time gift, such as for special national collections. Once you sign up, you will be able to manage your giving preferences at any time, and you won't have to worry about writing a check or carrying cash to church each week. You can manage it anywhere you have an internet connection 24/7.

Online giving helps St. Luke, too, by giving us a predictable cash flow that we can plan on and by ensuring that a gift is received even when bad weather, illness or travel prevent Mass attendance. Please, if you haven't already, sign up today by visiting our secure GiveCentral page here.
On behalf of the entire staff, we thank you for all the prayers and financial contributions you provide so that our parish can be present and serving you.

Masses During
2018 Convocation

While all diocesan priests in the Chicago area are away at the Archdiocese of Chicago's quadrennial Convocation this week, St. Luke is still able to offer our morning Masses at our regular times of 6:30 and 8:00 am on all four days of the convocation Monday through Thursday, June 18-21. Many thanks to the Fr. Jack O'Malley and the Dominican Fathers for assisting us with the Masses.

Summer Book Group
Examines Racism

St. Luke's Peace & Justice Committee is hosting a series of discussions on the book "The Sin of White Supremacy" by Jeannine Hill Fletcher on Monday, June 25. At each of the biweekly meetings, the group will explore a chapter or two of the book that's published by Orbis Books and also available on Amazon. Each session will be 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the Hospitality House.
